Pope Francis celebrated a special liturgy of thanksgiving in the Church of the Gesù in Rome on Saturday September the 27th, to mark the 200th anniversary of the restoration of the Society of Jesus.
The painting was blessed by the Pope at the end of the ceremony. The artist met the Pope briefly, to present him with a sketch of the painting.
